Your Questions, Answered

  • I offer both in-person and virtual sessions to keep things flexible for individuals or families.

  • I’m happy to offer both virtual and in-person sessions to fit your family’s needs! However, because younger children often thrive on the sensory and social engagement of being in the same room, I generally recommend in-person visits for the little ones. This helps us build a stronger bond and keeps them more naturally engaged in our work together.

  • My standard fee is $200 for a 50-minute individual therapy session. Couples and family sessions are $225 per session. Collateral sessions (such as meetings with parents, teachers, or other providers) are offered at a rate of $130 per session. I also offer a limited number of sessions at a reduced rate for those needing financial support.

  • I am currently in-network with Medi-Cal in San Mateo County (HPSM). If I am out of network with your insurance, I can provide a superbill for possible reimbursement.

  • Some insurance plans offer reimbursement for sessions with out-of-network providers. If I am not in-network with your plan, I can provide a superbill that you may submit to your insurance company for possible partial reimbursement. I recommend contacting your insurance provider directly to learn more about your out-of-network mental health benefits.

  • A deductible is the amount you pay out of pocket each year for healthcare services before your insurance begins to reimburse you. For example, if your deductible is $1,000, you would pay the full session fee until that amount is met. Afterward, your insurance may reimburse a portion of the cost, depending on your plan.
